Nína Gauta

During my stay in Niger in Africa I had this major opportunity to get to know the Tuaregs, the "blue men" of the desert. This fabulous encounter allowed me to share their traditions, to work and to use the leather in utilitarian and decorative ways. With my Icelandic culture, my manual skills and my knowledge of the arts, I developed my own technique to express myself in a modern and universal way.
